Areas to avoid due to jeepney protests today

Sprung by the recent plans of phasing-out old jeepneys, protesters are currently demonstrating a number of rallies that affects traffic on major thoroughfares in Metro Manila.

MMDA listed down the affected roads during the on-going protests on their official Facebook page. Of note, the transport strike is to last until 7:00 p.m. today, February 6, 2017, and heavy traffic is expected on these areas below:

In addition, MMDA announced that number coding scheme for Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) is lifted today. The government is also providing free rides to commuters who will be affected by the said transport strike, as reported by GMA News.
