Hyundai recently released a teaser video for the new i30 hatchback ahead of its global debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show in September. The trailer also unveiled the Korean brand’s new sleek-looking Cascading Grille.
Comparing it to its predecessor, the new i30 has a more aggressive front with its new headlights lined up with chrome. The look is further enhanced by the aforementioned new Cascading Grille and masculine character lines on the hood. Meanwhile, its rear also features a new pair of taillights, a more sculpted rear bumper, and a wider rear window.
It’s a car for everybody - for the design of the New Generation Hyundai i30, we didn’t just look at one customer, we focused on a wide range of different people. The design is an evolution of Hyundai Motor’s design language with natural flowing lines, refined surfaces and a sculpted body to create a timeless appearance," said Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer of Hyundai Motor Group.
According to Hyundai, the new i30 will come with an efficient and dynamic powertrain line-up, state-of-the-art safety and connectivity to meet European and global customers' needs.
The i30 nameplate hasn’t been introduced here in the Philippines as of date but with the soaring number of demand for cars, maybe this would be the perfect time to do so.
