Subaru has unveiled their SUV concept called the VIZIV-7 at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. This striking new concept will be the largest vehicle in the Japanese carmaker’s stable since the Tribeca.
The VIZIV-7 concept, which derives its name from the phrase ‘Vision for Innovation,’ features the brand’s “Dynamic x Solid” design philosophy. Subaru added that this SUV concept represents the future vision of Subaru for its customers - a vehicle that gives “enjoyment and peace of mind.”
Subaru didn’t release a lot of details with regards to its technical specs. All we know right now is that the VIZIV-7 concept will be capable of seating up to 7 people spread across its 3 rows.
Moreover, it will be 5,199 mm long, 1,829 mm tall, and have a wheelbase of 2,990 mm. Sounds huge right? To put that into perspective, the VIZIV-7 concept will be over a foot longer and just a little under an inch higher than the local spec Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
In addition, the VIZIV-7 concept could come with the brand’s symmetrical all-wheel-drive since most of Subaru’s vehicles send power to all 4 wheels (except the BRZ).
