As part of their continuing effort to spread awareness of road safety, Volkswagen Philippines is holding a 5 mall tour of its award-winning Child Safety Initiative campaign (CSI). The event, which is absolutely free, will feature various activities, lectures, and a special appearance by Wolfi – the Volkswagen mascot.
Children from ages 4 to 8 will be able to take part in the Junior Driving Course, Child Seat Corner, and the new Petron Seatbelt Impact Simulator, which will let kids experience the impact of a crash at 5 KpH in a safe, controlled environment. After all the activities, Junior Driver Licenses will be handed to participating children.
Aside from that, children along with their parents are encouraged to show their commitment to the slogan “Child road safety begins with me” by signing on the Pledge Wall. There will also be car stickers bearing a similar design given out as a souvenir.
This project by the German brand will kick off on August 6 and 7 at Robinsons Magnolia in New Manila, Quezon City; August 20 and 21 at Robinsons Place Las Pinas; October 1 and 2 at Robinsons Place Lipa in Batangas; October 15 and 16 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu; and, November 5 and 6 at Robinsons Place Manila.
