In line with the Volkswagen’s summer tour called the “Enthusiast Show Fleet,” the German automaker revealed custom versions of the Golf 1.8T, Golf GTI, Golf R, Jetta GLI, and Passat.
Golf 1.8T
The Golf 1.8T is a vehicle that integrates the classic look to the modern day. Paying tribute to the original Mk1 Volkswagen Rabbit, this 2016 Golf 1.8T is finished in Bali Green exterior paint. The vehicle is also fitted with yellow-tinted headlights, a black stripe along the bottom of the doors, and a set of 19-inch BBS Super RS wheels. Lastly, the 2016 Golf 1.8T is equipped with H&R coil-overs which drop the ride height by 2 inches.
Golf GTI
The exterior of the Golf GTI is in a striking purple hue with a gold stripe spanning from its sides. Its carrier box sports the same paint job for uniformity. Aside from the finish, the custom version of the Golf GTI comes with a set of 20-inch forged gloss gold wheels and H&R street performance coil-overs.
Golf R
According to Volkswagen, this Golf R is inspired by the Scirocco GT Black Edition that’s available in the U.K. The Golf R show car is designed with a matte black roof and 19-inch black aluminum-alloy ‘Lugano’ wheels. Similar to the two other Golfs, this vehicle is fitted with H&R coil-overs to reduce its ride height.
Jetta GLI
Volkswagen says this Jetta GLI is a performance-focused vehicle. It wears a set of BFGoodrich g-Force Rival tires on 18-inch Neuspeed RSe52 wheels. The Jetta GLI also has H&R coil-overs which is said to deliver improved grip and handling.
Passat
This custom made Passat wears a ‘Satin Orange Shimmer’ exterior paint. It features an ‘AccuAir E-Level TouchPad air management package and a custom wood flooring in the trunk. The Passat sits on a set of 20-inch gloss clear wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
