The annual event of Mazda Philippines packs a car extravaganza filled with test drives, special promotions and, of course, the full lineup of the 2018 Mazda models.
Zoom Fest has been a key touch point for Mazda and our customers over the past five years. We know this weekend is special and because of that, we always make it a point to come back every year to showcase our award-winning models and give our customers a feature-filled display and test drive experience.
Are you convinced now? Well, if not yet then read up here the thrilling details, and sure you’ll find yourself nodding in agreement on why you should save your weekend for the 2018 Mazda Zoom Fest:
You will learn about Mazda cars the Jinba Ittai way.
Fans and customers of the premium Japanese brand will find a unique insight into Mazda’s engineering culture and design heritage. For better customer appreciation, the brand masters will meticulously explain Mazda’s guiding principle – the Jinba Ittai – which translates to the ‘horse and rider as one’ concept. Through this fundamental engineering philosophy, Mazda brings together the driver and the car in an experience behind the wheel that is fun and less tiring for all the passengers. This experience will certainly allow the public to fully appreciate the intricacies of Mazda’s rare design preferences that make all its cars truly fun to drive.
You will get to know the Mazda2 Premium Series.
After understanding Mazda’s Jinba Ittai philosophy that’s highlighted in each and every model on display, the Zoom Fest visitors will also witness the showcase of new additions to the SKYACTIV model range. First in the lineup, which is new in 2018, is the Mazda2 Premium Series that arrives in three new variants: the Java, Katana and Crimson editions.
Mazda Philippines is launching the marque’s Java Edition in the new exterior color, Titanium Flash, and the soon-to-arrive Katana Edition that brings the Mazda signature Machine Grey into the range for the first time. These two editions are said to add more maturity and class to the top-spec Mazda2 Premium Series line. While the Crimson Edition updates its shade, and wears Soul Red Crystal, the brand’s all-new signature color that’s vibrant, and truly a head-turner.
The new Mazda2 has updated exteriors; there’s the shark fin antenna in the new Premium Series variants, and the new 15-inch alloy wheels for the entry-level manual transmission-equipped S variant. Other color variants of the Mazda2 Premium Series are still available in the form of the Kabuki and Midnight editions.
You will finally meet the 2018 MX-5.
Does your heart beat faster with the visions of Mazda2 Premium Series? Try not to be extra hyped yet as there’s more to debut during the Zoom Fest.
Of course, Mazda won’t let the event pass by without putting on display the 2018 MX-5. Its latest iteration – the new Dark Cherry soft top canopy for the automatic transmission-equipped MX-5 – is said to heighten the iconic sports car status of the two-seat roadster.
Also making an appearance on Zoom Fest is the MX-5 RF with six-speed SKYACTIV manual transmission, which caters to car buyers who want to be more engaged in their drive while valuing the security of a retracting solid roof.
You will witness the debut of an all-new crossover variant.
Further adding to the thrill that will get your two thumbs up (or even compel you to purchase) is the front-wheel drive CX-9 Sport Touring, an all-new variant in the Mazda Crossover Series lineup.
This latest addition to the stylish and powerful seven-seater crossover nameplate comes with the 2.5-liter SKYACTIV Turbocharged engine that’s similar to the all-wheel drive CX-9 Grand Touring. The CX-9 Sport Touring is differentiated by its dark silver 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamps, while retaining similar premium features such as its 7-seat configuration, Mazda Connect information and entertainment system, six airbags, power seats for both the driver and passenger, and G-Vectoring control.
You will get prizes and discounts up to P100,000.
Certainly not the least among the reasons that’ll make you pleased with your weekend activities at the Zoom Fest, right? For the opportunity to take home amazing prizes and to even get discounts when you book a Mazda is quite stirring, isn’t it?
