
Latest technology in electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid cars are set to conquer the center stage at the 1st ASEAN Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Summit. This will be organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), together with the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI).
Get a chance to see electric cars from well-known brands on June 29 and 30, at the World Trade Center. EV display includes the Mitsubishi I-Miev and Outlander SUV plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), Nissan Note and Leaf units, Toyota Prius PHV, and the Lexus NX 300h.
Aside from vehicles, the event will also showcase the latest technology from battery chargers to charging stations. Locally produced EVs and hybrid cars will also be displayed to stir the attention of the crowd.
Meanwhile, visitors will get the privilege to ride EVs first-hand, as free rides on-board EJeepneys and ETrikes will be provided to and from the the venue. This is in courtesy of PhUV Inc. and KEA Industrial Corporation.

Juan is also hopeful that the event will give electric and hybrid vehicles a boost in the country.
