Ferrying the delegates was no easy task, but all went on a great roll, as Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the country’s official distributor of BMW vehicle, pitched in and have served as the event’s Official Premium Mobility Partner. A fleet of the current BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase Sedans were sent in.
The 7 Series LWB (730Li) sports a 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 Engine, routed through an 8-Speed Automatic Transmission, spinning all four wheels with an astonishing 540hp and 538nm/torque. That being said, the ace of the 7 Series LWB is it extra-long 3211mm/128.5in wheelbase, which results in increased cabin space, complementing its top-of-the-line luxury interior amenities like premium an all-leather interior and a whole host of high-tech options like satelight navigation and integrated multimedia entertainment system.
Running under the theme “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World”, APEC successfully commenced the two-day symposium, zeroing in on priorities for next year’s conference regarding trade for inclusive growth and economic cooperation. As of today, APEC is comprised of 21 countries, all geared towards the betterment of the economy on a broader scale. These countries are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Thailand, USA, and Viet Nam.
Amidst the onslaught of Super Typhon Ruby, the convention pushed through, thus earning the Philippine government a well-deserved recognition, not only from the participating international dignitaries, but also from the Asian Carmakers Corporation, as well. “BMW congratulates the Philippine government for taking point in this year’s APEC ISOM. We will continue to support the endeavours of our leaders in the coming year as they tackle economic strategies in major business sectors, including the automotive industry, which is poised to help spur growth in the region.” says ACC President Maricar Parco.
As the series of APEC meetings commence starting January 2015, ACC will continue to support by resuming its role as the premier forum’s Official Mobility Partner. To be held in nine key cities across the country, ACC, with its team of 200 sporty and luxurious BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase Sedans are ready for an epic economic action. Today, the Asia Pacific, tomorrow, the World!
