Chevrolet showcased a TRON: Legacy – inspired version of the Cruze sedan at the Auto China in Beijing. This is to promote the Shanghai Disney Resort that will open on June 16, 2016.
The TRON Cruze, if we can call it that for now, was made in partnership with The Walt Disney Company China. It boasts the movie’s signature look by utilizing neon blue lines over its gloss black body. Head- and tail- lights were also done in the same hue of blue to complete the futuristic look.
Inside is the Chevrolet’s signature dual-cockpit layout, accented by blue lines on the seats, instrument panel, steering wheel, and center console. The light on the gauges have the same color, while an “Ice blue” ambient light completes the interior concept.
If you plan on doing something similar, the Cruze is locally available from Chevrolet Philippines with a starting price of P858,888. It’s available with a 1.8L gasoline engine coupled to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, and a 2.0L turbocharged diesel, attached to a 6-speed automatic.
