
With its continuous success in the country, Ford Philippines gave back to the community through the annual ‘Ford Global Caring Month.’ The goal of the said activity is to let Ford employees around the world to “venture into their communities to make people’s lives better.”
As such, 70 Ford Philippines employees joined hands in building and painting houses at the Gawad Kalinga Bayanihan Village in Dasmarinas, Cavite. They spent more than 500 hours for the said project, which will then benefit 20 families.
Meanwhile, dealers and employees from Ford Alabang conducted medical and dental mission in Brgy. Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, which aided over 500 citizens.
“We are happy to implement projects that will have a meaningful and sustainable impact to society in our Global Caring Month and we are all looking forward to see how they will benefit more families and more people.”
Aside from Gawad Kalinga, Ford Philippines is working with the American Chamber Foundation Philippines in managing corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects under the Operation Better World Program.
