Ford Philippines went on stage on the 1st of March, 2022, for the company to be recognized by Muntilipa City as one of the top corporate taxpayers in 2021. The Blue Oval has been consistently recognized as one of the top taxpayers in the area since 2014, and it continues to do so well into 2021 with plans on continuing the streak for 2022.
In 2014, Ford made the move to Alabang. For nearly 7 years, the brand has been conducting its business in Muntinlupa City, and if you’ve seen the Blue Oval’s corporate center, it’s definitely a sight with the highrise building amidst a modern business district background.
Ford Philippines’ has been going strong ever since selling models like the venerable Ford Ranger to Filipinos looking for the ultimate pickup truck experience. Other passenger cars like the Ford Territory are breaking new grounds for the brand with its stellar value for money proposition and its respectable drive. Ford Philippines is also able to provide its Philippine customers with American-sourced vehicles like the Mustang and the F-150, both models are what we think to be the most iconic Fords you can buy today.
Michael Breen, Ford Philippines’ managing director was present at the ceremony and received the recognition award. He stated that the citation was a true testament to the commitment of Ford to the country. Breen’s full statement is as follows:
“We truly appreciate the Muntinlupa City local government unit for recognizing our contribution to the city as a responsible taxpayer. This citation is a true testament to our commitment to good governance and corporate citizenship practices.”
Michael Breen went on stage alongside city administrator Engr. Allan Cachuela, city mayor Jaime Fresnedi, and congressman for the lone district of Muntinlupa Ruffy Biazon during Muntinlupa City’s 27 th cityhood anniversary celebration at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex last March 1, 2022.
