GAC MOTOR Philippines made several important announcements regarding its sales performance, dealer network expansion, and new developments within the company. They revealed that their retail sales had reached significant milestones, achieving a remarkable 244 percent increase in year-to-date sales compared to previous periods. This success can be attributed to the strong demand for their latest vehicles, particularly the All-New GS8, Empow, and the recently launched Emkoo. The positive response from customers demonstrates the growing acceptance of the GAC MOTOR brand among Filipinos, who appreciate the exceptional value, reliability, and craftsmanship of their vehicles.
In line with its commitment to providing convenient access to its products, GAC MOTOR is actively working on expanding its dealer network across the country. They currently have six operational dealerships, with plans to increase this number to 15 by July and ultimately reach a target of 20 dealerships by the end of the year. The 15 fully-operational dealerships are strategically located in Alabang, Bacoor, Batangas City, Butuan, Cainta, Davao, E. Rodriguez Ave., Iloilo, Lipa City, Makati, Manila Bay, Pampanga, Pasig, Quezon Avenue, and Tarlac. Furthermore, two more locations in Bacolod and Cebu are scheduled to open in the third quarter of this year.
Another significant announcement from GAC MOTOR is the upcoming arrival of the New-Generation GS3 EMZOOM, which will be officially unveiled to the media on June 30, followed by its availability for retail sales starting in July 2023. The GS3 EMZOOM is the latest version of the brand's GS3 crossover model, serving as the entry-level vehicle in their lineup. It combines visually striking aesthetics, spacious interiors, intelligent technology, and exceptional performance into a single package. GAC MOTOR takes pride in launching the GS3 EMZOOM in the Philippines as the first overseas market for this model.
Customers interested in the GS3 EMZOOM can now make reservations at any GAC MOTOR dealership nationwide or visit their website for online reservations and inquiries. The vehicle is offered in three variants and starts at a special introductory price of Php 998,000. Furthermore, all units come with a five-year warranty, providing additional peace of mind to customers.
During the press conference, GAC MOTOR also introduced their newest brand ambassador for the Philippines, Dingdong Dantes, a well-known celebrity, TV actor, and motoring enthusiast. The company believes that Dantes' accomplishments, dedication, high standards, and commitment to quality align perfectly with the values of GAC MOTOR. This collaboration aims to enhance the brand's resonance with customers and establish GAC MOTOR as an accessible and aspirational choice among Filipinos.
Dantes expressed his excitement and honor in becoming the brand ambassador for GAC MOTOR, emphasizing that joining the GAC MOTOR family means sharing the same values and being part of a brand that constantly pushes boundaries and strives for excellence. He is proud to be associated with a group of forward-thinking innovators dedicated to bringing the GAC brand experience closer to Filipinos.
Overall, GAC MOTOR Philippines celebrated its outstanding sales performance, emphasized its commitment to expanding its dealer network, introduced the highly anticipated New-Generation GS3 EMZOOM, and welcomed Dingdong Dantes as its new brand ambassador, all with the goal of further establishing its presence and success in the Philippine market.
