After 2 months of waiting since its launch in Thailand, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is now introducing the facelifted 7-seater Mobilio to the local market. It will be available in 3 variants, all equipped with a 1.5-liter engine: the V CVT, E MT, and the RS Navi.
In case you missed it, Honda revealed a sportier-looking Thai-spec Mobilio last May. Among the changes included were the new headlight design with LED Guide Type Position Lights, as well as the new front grille. Both 1.5 V CVT and 1.5 E MT variants sport a chrome front grille, while the 1.5 RS Navi stands out with its RS gloss black grille. The wheels were also replaced by newly-designed 15-inch aluminum alloys.
The cabin features a new dashboard design plus a distinct set of updates for the V and E variants, as well as for the RS. The 1.5 V CVT and 1.5 E MT are equipped with the blue-illuminated instrument cluster. Aside from this, the CVT variant gets a new 7-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth functions and USB connectivity, alongside an exclusive black fabric seats and silver trims on the front air-condition vent panel.
Meanwhile, the 1.5 RS Navi boasts a sporty interior ambience, complete with a keyless entry system with push start function. The black fabric seats with orange stitching will welcome passengers upon opening the doors, while dark metal accents wrap the door panel armrests and front AC vent panel. The dash is decorated with an orange-illuminated instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation.
For seat configuration, the refreshed Mobilio still has the same cabin space from its predecessor as no changes in its dimensions were made. Starting at the 2nd row, the seats, which features a One-Touch Fold-to-Tumble function, can be slid, reclined, and folded in a 60:40 layout. The 3rd row offers a 50:50 split configuration and has a Fold-to-Tumble system.
The 1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine produces 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque, and is then mated to either a 5-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). New to the RS Navi are the paddle shifters that are integrated to provide a sportier driving experience.
The refreshed Mobilio is now available at all Honda Cars dealerships in the country. It will be offered in Phoenix Orange Pear, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic and Taffeta White for V CVT and E MT, and White Orchid Pearl for RS Navi. The base 1.5 E MT variant retails at P829,000, the 1.5 V CVT is at P909,000, and the top-of-the-line 1.5 RS Navi at P1,029,000.
