Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, is set to open its first commercial vehicle dealership in June 2017.
As such, HARI held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hyundai Trucks & Buses dealership, which is located in Calamba, Laguna. The soon-to-rise dealership is a joint venture between HARI and the Areza Group, a long-time business partner of the company.
HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said that the Areza Group’s vast network of businesses, which is “deeply rooted” in Calamba, Laguna, would help Hyundai as a whole.
Moreover, Hyundai’s Logistics and Assembly Center is also situated in Calamba, which makes it logical to have its first commercial vehicle dealership in the same location.
The Hyundai Logistics Center is a 10-hectare facility located along the Pan-Philippine National Highway in Brgy. Makiling, Calamba, Laguna. It has a warehouse for genuine Hyundai parts and accessories.
