Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) commemorated the remarkable accomplishments of its nationwide dealer network at the Dealer of the Year Awards, held on February 9th. This annual ceremony recognizes exceptional performance throughout the network, with Isuzu Makati securing the prestigious Dealer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. This achievement emphasizes the continued excellence of Isuzu Makati, building upon its previous win in 2022.
Tetsuya Fujita, President of IPC, expressed his appreciation to the dealer network for their outstanding contributions. He specifically highlighted their pivotal role in upholding Isuzu's dominant position in the truck segment for 25 consecutive years. In addition, Fujita issued a challenge to the network, urging them to strengthen their Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) business and persist in devising innovative business solutions for customers nationwide.
Isuzu Makati emerged as the frontrunner in this year's awards, showcasing unmatched performance and customer loyalty. Isuzu Subic and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro secured the second and third places, respectively. Mr. Edgard Cabangon, Chairman of Isuzu GENCARS Group, expressed gratitude to Isuzu Philippines for its steadfast support. He also recognized his team's dedication, which has played a crucial role in fostering customer loyalty and reaching the dealership's objectives.
Isuzu Makati was not the only one who was given recognition that day, the event also acknowledged excellence across different operational domains, with special accolades presented for accomplishments in Sales, Parts, and Service Operations. Isuzu Subic secured the top position in the Sales Operations Category, trailed by Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Alabang. In the Parts Operations Category, Isuzu Bulacan claimed the highest honors, followed by Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro. For the Service Operations Category, Isuzu Sta. Rosa clinched the first place, with Isuzu Calapan and Isuzu Cagayan De Oro following closely in second and third place, respectively.
Lastly, Isuzu gave recognition to sales executives who demonstrated exceptional performance, with Ms. Rica Anne Quico of Isuzu Alabang being honored as the 2023 Sales Executive of the Year. The ceremony also spotlighted outstanding performers in truck sales, with Mr. Grant Jehiel Endriga from Isuzu Cagayan De Oro earning the 2023 Truck Elite of the Year award.
