Now is the perfect time to show off your fuel efficiency skills through the 2018 Isuzu Fuel Eco Challenge. The real deal here is the all-expense-paid trip to Thailand reward for the top three winners of the competition. Not only that, an exclusive off-road adventure drive at Isuzu 4x4 Land in Pattaya also awaits the champion. Sounds tempting? Here’s what you need to do.
Open to all existing and potential Isuzu car owners, interested participants must head on to any participating Isuzu dealerships nationwide. Beginning from September 17 to December 31, 2018, all you need is to test drive either the new Isuzu mu-X RZ4E or D-MAX RZ4E model and you’ll automatically get a P200 Shell fuel voucher.
After that, the attending Isuzu Sales Executive will then guide you as you perform the test drive along the 5 km route around the dealership location. The fuel efficiency result displayed in the test drive vehicle’s Multi-Information Display will be recorded by the designated sales executive.
Once you’ve decided to purchase an Isuzu mu-X or D-MAX, you’ll be granted with an additional P5,000 worth of Shell fuel vouchers, and if you happen to have the best fuel efficiency rating during the test drive, you will then be qualified for the championship stage of the 2018 Isuzu Fuel Eco Challenge.
The final stage of the competition will be held on January 26, 2019 on a pre-set 10 km route near the IPC headquarters in Binan, Laguna. The championship will be divided in two categories: the mu-X RZ4E and D-MAX RZ4E.
The 2018 Isuzu Fuel Eco Challenge is Isuzu’s way of promoting fuel-efficient driving among Isuzu vehicle owners and highlighting the efficiency, power, ride, comfort, and durability of the two Japanese brand’s vehicles. For more details on the competition mechanics, you can check the Isuzu website.
