A few weeks ago, Isuzu Philippines Inc. (IPC) announced that the mu-X for 2024 has been given a big update. The update this time wasn’t focused on aesthetics but rather on providing the mu-X with a whole lot more tech and safety equipment. To test out the mu-X’s upgrades, Isuzu hosted an exclusive media test drive event on March 7, 2024, showcasing its state-of-the-art safety Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) and the newly equipped SMART DUO Camera.
The event, spanning from BGC, Taguig to Tagaytay Highlands, covered approximately 60 kilometers, allowing motoring media members and influencers to personally experience the enhancements of the vehicle. Upon reaching Tagaytay Highlands, IPC arranged a controlled testing area to showcase its new features. Among these is the new 360-degree Around View Monitor (AVM), an advanced system offering drivers a complete view of the vehicle's surroundings.

In addition, IPC also showcased its upgraded blind spot monitoring system, which effectively detects vehicles or motorcycles in the driver's blind spot. For sizable cars like the mu-X, equipment like this is indispensable when driving it daily on crowded roads.

Next in the mu-X’s array of tech is its Digital Video Recorder (DVR). This feature enables owners to record up to 11 hours of video from both the front and rear cameras without requiring aftermarket dashcam installations. Not only does this ensure owners don’t void the vehicle’s warranty it also provides additional security and lessens the hassle of installing aftermarket dashcams.
Last but not least is the mu-X’s infotainment system. Now compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, this feature integrates any compatible phone into its 10.1-inch Infotainment system. Paired with its new wireless charging pad, occupants can now enjoy uninterrupted entertainment, navigation, and connectivity throughout their journey.
“The 2024 edition of the Isuzu mu-X is our most technologically advanced and safest SUV to date. With these new features, alongside with its modern and elegant styling, the new Isuzu mu-X is poised to redefine expectations and revolutionize the SUV market – raising the bar even higher in terms of in-vehicle safety and technology.”

The all-new Isuzu mu-X is now available nationwide. If you want a tough and powerful mid-size SUV, the Isuzu mu-X presents a pretty compelling choice. Explore the mu-X lineup on AutoDeal.com.ph and see if Isuzu’s seven-seater SUV can be your next ride.
