Family cars are aplenty in the Philippine market, but only a few would be considered worthy and ready for any journey with your loved ones. Seven-seat MPVs may fit the bill most of the time, but it’s really with SUVs that even more capability is on offer.
Isuzu knows that its mu-X is one of the most robust, durable, and capable midsize SUVs out there, and for the Filipino family, no car is too overbuilt to handle daily family life. For the 2023 model year, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) gives us more to love about the mu-X with a subtle tweak and some additions that make this already family-friendly SUV even better than before.
The new grille is a two-tone piece that matches nicely with the new 20-inch alloy wheels. Isuzu Philippines calls this new look a “Premium Family SUV image,” which meshes nicely in almost any environment, be it in the city or out of town and away on a trip. On top of that, we also get a new Norwegian Blue color option which looks stunning and eye-catching.
On top of that, there are a ton of features packed into this restyled and renewed model. Isuzu boasts about the inclusion of the Smart Power Tailgate with a Step Sensor, which allows you to open the rear door hands-free. The system relies on the smart key system, which is a proximity-based system with no kicking required.

Still, for 2023, the mu-X will continue to come equipped (for select variants) with Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS). The system promises to keep you and your family safe on the road while giving the driver the satisfaction of using some of the latest and most cutting-edge technologies available in the midsize SUV segment.
“The latest edition of the Isuzu mu-X with its new premium styling and smart features does not compromise the vehicle’s core value of durability, reliability, fuel efficiency and 5-star safety. We think it is this complete package that will truly elevate the driving experience of Filipino families nationwide.”
