Land Rover, a name that is associated with luxury and refinement on and off asphalt roads, introduces a facelifted Discovery Sport compact crossover. This product is the middle ground in the brand’s three-facet product line. For the customer who wants ruggedness and refinement married into one, the Discovery Sport is available for all who want a crossover that delivers on the Land Rover experience with both the refinement and intermediate capability of its more refined and rugged brothers, respectively.
Coventry Motors Corporation’s (CMC) newest offering in the luxury crossover SUV market is getting a slight facelift to enhance its already-alluring presence. Two variants of this facelift are available for purchase from Land Rover Philippines, the S, and the R-Design. The 2.0L diesel engine found in both variants produces 148 hp and 380 Nm of torque. An all-wheel-drive system is standard for all models, as is a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The S serves as the standard model for the lineup, but the R-design takes things a little further by adding some subtle and a few major changes to the look of the interior and exterior. You get a slightly tweaked front bumper, along with body-colored cladding which is different from the black color on the standard variant. The badges also feature a darker color than the S variant, and the wheels are a dual-finish 20-inch alloy wheel. The interior found in the R-Design is a dark-colored interior with red stitching, while the S features a black and beige combo.
Land Rover is pricing this new evolution of the Discovery at P4,490,000 for the S variant and P4,790,000 for the R-Design.
