Mitsubishi’s XForce has been making waves in the Philippine market, and for good reason. This stylish and feature-packed crossover blends practicality, technology, and efficiency into a package that’s both exciting and approachable. It’s no surprise that it has quickly become a hit among Filipino car buyers looking for a modern, urban-friendly ride.
The current XForce, available in GLS and GT trims, is powered by a fuel-efficient 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a CVT. It boasts a high-tech interior, a spacious and flexible cabin, and an impressive 8-speaker Yamaha sound system that delivers high-definition audio—something I personally loved during my time with the car. Add in its peppy performance and smooth handling, and you’ve got a crossover that’s both fun and practical.

Mitsubishi is set to take things a step further with the upcoming XForce Hybrid, slated for a global reveal on March 20, 2025. While official specs are still under wraps, we can expect an electrified powertrain that promises improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions without sacrificing the lively performance that makes the XForce such a joy to drive.
One of the biggest questions is whether Mitsubishi will use its tried-and-tested MIVEC hybrid system or introduce an all-new setup. We can also anticipate possible enhancements in driving modes, regenerative braking, and even more advanced tech inside the cabin. Given the XForce’s strong foundation, the hybrid model could offer an even more refined and fuel-conscious driving experience.

With hybrids gaining traction in the local market, the XForce Hybrid could be a game-changer if it eventually lands in the Philippines. Keep an eye out for details on power output, fuel economy figures, and potential new features that could set it apart from the already well-loved gasoline version.
For now, the wait is on. The Mitsubishi XForce Hybrid is officially launching on March 20, 2025. Until then, we’ll keep you posted on all the latest updates.
