Both the Mitsubishi L300 and Strada lead the brand’s January sales performance. Notably, both vehicles generated a significant increase in retail sales. This shows a great improvement for Mitsubishi, therefore, marking a great start this 2021.
Other companies including MMPC benefited from the economic boost, with the Japanese automaker garnering success through the increased sales figures of the L300 and Strada. Numerically speaking, both models started strong in 2021 with 59% and 30% respective sales growth.
Every month displays a new challenge for us but we are grateful to consistently receive an overwhelming support from the market and admirable passion from our dealer partners. We will continue to strive to give the market enticing promos to assist them in owning their desired Mitsubishi vehicle.
The immortal and locally-made Mitsubishi L300 is the number-one selling utility van in the country. Last January, it capped a total of 764 units sold. That’s actually more than the 286 units garnered from the previous month. In fact, the numbers can be attributed to the special ‘Retro’ promo that brought the price of the L300 Cab and Chassis down to P698,000. Mitsubishi then extended the promo until the end of February.
On the other hand, the Mitsubishi Strada also achieved good numbers last January. In total, the midsize pickup closed 428 units, which is a 101 unit improvement versus December.
2021 is foretold to be the rebound year looking at the numbers coming out of 2020, due to the continuous significant progress reflected by the economy. The improvements shown have uplifted the spirits of many industries, including the automotive side which include Mitsubishi.
