Images of the facelifted 2021 Toyota Innova have been surfacing online. Now more photos have come up this time coming from a dealership in Vietnam. Thanks to photos from PikirianRkyat.com, offb.vn, and in.glbnews.com we now have a clearer picture of what the refreshed MPV could look like for the Philippines.
Exterior
While its overall shape hasn’t changed the front of the vehicle is where the refreshes are most evident. It now comes with a much wider grille that now extends to the lower bumper. Out of the two variants shown (the E and G), it appears that the lower variants will come with a silver garnish for the grille while higher trim-levels will come with chrome. Black plastic may also be the material of choice for the large intake.
Another evident redesign for the refreshed 2021 Toyota Innova is its lower bumper. Its signal light layouts have been changed. Instead of having a horizontal layout the facelifted MPV now gets a new vertical set. The lower bumper also features a new set of smaller fog lights that appears to only have halogens in them. A new set of wheels will also be available with the vehicle.
Moving onto the rear of the MPV and not much as changed. Other reports have stated that it will be coming with LED tail lamps, however, these are yet to be confirmed. It still carries over the same design as the non-facelifted model that is currently still being sold in the Philippines
Interior
Moving on the interior and it's still a familiar experience. The layout hasn’t changed along with the infotainment system. However, this might change once the Innova gets officially launched in the Philippines as new features may be added later on. Seat materials may also be the same, utilizing cloth upholstery.
Power
It is still unknown if the refreshed 2021 Toyota Innova will come with a power upgrade once it arrives in the Philippines. It is important to remember that the MPV does share the same platform as the Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Hilux and likewise has access to the same engine options. While unconfirmed we are hoping that the Innova like its IMV platform siblings gets a boost in power.
