Long drives, traffic, and warm drinks, the new BYD Atto 3 has a fix for at least two of those. BYD has introduced an updated version of the Atto 3 in China, bringing new technology and added convenience while keeping the price competitive.
The biggest change is the God’s Eye C intelligent driving system, which improves driver assistance and safety features. The new system, also called DiPilot 100, includes a tri-camera setup under the windshield that enables high-speed Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) in different driving situations. Future updates are expected to improve city driving assistance, making it even more helpful on roads.
Aside from advanced safety features, the updated Atto 3 also comes with a built-in fridge, which makes the SUV more convenient for road trips and daily drives, allowing drivers and passengers to store drinks and snacks. Inside, the new model now offers beige and gray color options, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 12-inch head-up display, and a driver-monitoring camera mounted on the A-pillar. The center console has also been refreshed, featuring two cup holders, physical buttons, and a 50W wireless charging pad.

The exterior has been slightly updated, now with a larger air intake, smoked headlights, and blacked-out D-pillars. A new rear spoiler with dual brake lights has also been added. The “Build Your Dreams” badge on the back has been replaced with the BYD emblem. Despite these changes, the SUV keeps its 4,455 mm length, 1,875 mm width, and 1,615 mm height, along with a 2,720 mm wheelbase.

The powertrain remains the same, with a 150 kW (201 hp) front electric motor and two battery options. The 49.9 kWh battery provides a 430 km range, while the 60.5 kWh battery can go up to 510 km based on CLTC testing. The price of the new Atto 3 starts at approximately P906k and goes up to around P1.14M, making it a bit cheaper than the previous model for the base variant, while the top trim is slightly more expensive.
BYD continues to grow in the local EV market, making many wonder if the updated Atto 3 will be sold in the Philippines. With its smart driver-assist features, built-in fridge, and modern technology, it could be a great choice for those looking for a well-equipped electric SUV.
