In an attempt to fuel the fire of an impending war between SUV-looking MPVs, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is now accepting reservations for the 2018 Toyota Rush.
Although, at this point, there are no information from TMP yet as to how much the reservation cost is. More importantly, no other official details about the 7-seater Rush itself are present — no pricing, no specs, no variants. All we have is this short video below posted by the company via their official Facebook page.
But, assuming that we’ll get the Indonesian-spec Rush, the top-of-the-line TRD Sportivo variant is equipped with a push-start system, keyless entry, hill-start assist, LED lighting, 6 airbags, and a ladder-frame chassis. It has a 1.5L Dual VVT-i DOHC engine under its hood, capable of producing 103 hp and 136 Nm of torque. It's then coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
If you’re in for the Rush and would like to reserve a unit ASAP, reservation is available via their dealerships, presumably at any Toyota showroom in their nationwide network.
