After competing with over 60 of the region’s best amateur golfers, Philippines has secured a spot in the 2017 MercedesTrophy World Final – a premium tournament series for amateur golfers from all over the world.
This is after winning the MercedesTrophy Asian Final, held at the Sanctuary Cove Golf & Country Club in Queensland, Australia. Asian countries who participated include Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Aside from the golf tournament, the event also featured a unique ‘Drive to the Major’ competition for Mercedes-Benz customers. The guests were also given an opportunity to experience driving Mercedes-Benz cars on the track at the Mt. Cotton Training Facility and a private dinner at the SkyPoint Observation Desk.
The winners will step up to the finals and will be the representative of Team Asia to play against the ace players across the world in the MercedesTrophy World Final.
