Ford Philippines has recently released its sales figures for Q2 of 2019 and things are looking good for the Ranger
In total, Ford was able to garner 5,667 vehicle sales during 2019 Q2 thanks to the Ranger. This is a new record for the Blue Oval since it sold a total of 3,658 units in the same period last year.
Moreover, sales of the Ranger rose 25%, setting a record high 3,694 vehicle sales, bringing it up to a year-to-date total of 6,836 units sold. It also beat its previous record last year of 2,177 units in Q2 of 2018. This means there are more Rangers out on the roads than ever before. With sales figures like this, the Ford PH is well on its way to beating its record last year of 11,604 units sold.
The Ranger remains as one of the country's most preferred pickup trucks, and continues to set the benchmark for the segment with its versatility, capability, power, and class-leading driver assistance technologies
Further reinforcing the Ranger in the "Built Ford Tough" line is the release of the XLS Sport variant. This increases the number of variants of the Ranger to 11, including the Ranger Raptor. This also gives buyers better options when selecting a Ranger to suit their needs.
Not to be left out, however, the Everest midsize SUV sold 1,274 units, pushing its year-to-date sales to 2,919. It still has a bit of catching up to do in order to match its previous sales last year. The Ecosport, on the other hand, was able to get 487 units, more than what it was able to get last year of 410. However its year-to-date record of 1,020 unit sales puts it behind its sales numbers last year of 3,685.
