The calendar is about to reach the end of its last page, but that doesn’t stop Ford Philippines from continuously showing off its strength in the Philippine market. The popular American car brand has pushed its potential even more as it got an exemplary sales performance in November.
Ford PH’s November sales skyrocketed to 16% surge from the previous month to 1,891 vehicles. This remarkable figure is made possible by none other than the marque’s top-selling and segment-defining nameplate, the Ranger.
Steadily lounging at the throne, the commanding pickup truck gathered a whopping 60% sales increase from October to 1,158 vehicles. This result boosted the year-to-date sales to more than 12%, which accounts to 10,374 units sold. This success can be accredited to the brand’s latest updates and new vehicle launches.
In case you missed it, Ford PH introduced its new Ranger lineup last September, which now comes with nine different variants. Its latest lineup consists of the first-ever Ranger Raptor, Wildtrak, XLT and XLS variants. Apart from that, the Blue Oval brand also fitted the updated Rangers with two new-generation power trains such as the 2.0L Bi-Turbo and 2.0L Single Turbo engines, as well as the Duratorq engine.
Speeding up behind the Ranger is the Everest midsize SUV, which contributed a total sales of 446 vehicles, improving its year-to-date sales to 5,406 vehicles. Its sibling EcoSport, on the other hand gathered 206 vehicles sales. As such, the mini SUV pushed its year-to-date sales to 4,803 units.
Meanwhile, the American carmaker sold 36 Mustang vehicles, lifting its year-to-date sales up by 7%, amounting to 405 vehicles in total.
