Suzuki Philippines (SPH) has given the Swift hatchback a facelift for 2022. It's a similar update to what first arrived in Japan in May 2020. With this small evolution, the Swift is positioning itself as a stylish and modern city car for today's world.
Exterior

For 2022, Suzuki furnished the Swift with an updated radiator grille. Gone is the chrome-slat design from previous years, replaced with a more modern and sporty blacked-out studded net design. The grille also slips in a chrome garnish for extra style points. That's about all of the exterior changes, however.
Interior and Technology

Suzuki reserved more exciting updates for the interior of this hatchback. For instance, the new Swift boasts an improved audio system and a brand-new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two of the most sought-after smartphone connectivity systems today.
While the Swift was already a breeze to maneuver around the city, it gets even better with a new reverse sensor and a reverse camera. Now fitting the Swift in tight parking spaces will be more convenient than ever. Overall, the Swift's interior looks mostly the same as the outgoing model, save for the new touchscreen display.
Power

The Suzuki Swift looks slightly different inside and out, but it packs the same power plant under the hood. Suzuki has retained the 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This year, Suzuki only offers a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Pricing

The 2022 Suzuki Swift GL CVT is the lone variant, priced at P844,000. There are four colorways available: Ablaze Red Pearl, Speedy Blue Metallic, Pure White Pearl, and Mineral Gray Metallic.
The new Swift's updated front fascia and new infotainment system could make it an attractive hatchback at its price point. Visit our Car Guide for detailed specs and pricing information for the refreshed Suzuki Swift.
