Suzuki opens a new dealership in Davao, Suzuki Auto Matina. The establishment opened its doors to the public on September 2, 2022, marking the brand’s second dealer on the island of Mindanao.
As the pioneer compact car distributor, Suzuki Philippines champions models like the Suzuki Ertiga, Swift, and Jimny to the Filipino market. All of these models are practical, economical, and perfect for traveling within the city and beyond it. With Japanese reliability at the heart of the Suzuki brand, it’s no wonder that many have considered and purchased a Suzuki. Further increasing its foothold in the country, the new Mindanao dealership is nestled in the heart of the island, in its economic powerhouse of a city.
Suzuki states that Suzuki Auto Matina is one of the biggest dealerships in the brand’s network, and the 6th Suzuki dealership of the Autocentral group, one of the brand’s long-standing partners. The dealership has a total land area of 3,000 square meters, and it is located in Talomo, Davao City. Suzuki expects that the new dealership will meet the demand in the region and cater to more customers in its eight service bays and a showroom that can accommodate up to seven display units at a time.
Present at the grand opening was the Director and General Manager for Suzuki Automobile, Mr. Norihide Takei. Takei-san expressed confidence that the Filipinos in the region can experience better mobility through Suzuki’s network expansion.
"The opening of Suzuki's newest dealership in Davao reflects our continuing efforts to bring the brand to more Filipinos looking for a reliable mobility partner. This also shows our support for the Philippine economic recovery as we hope to contribute in generating job opportunities for Filipinos in Davao City."

“Suzuki Philippines is excited for this new development, and we are optimistic this dealership will complement the company’s business momentum this 2022,” Takei-san added.
