
The Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup is back for October for its second leg at the Clark International Speedway. The event was initially scheduled for September but was postponed due to health and safety concerns. With the event now back in full swing this weekend from October 16 to 17, viewers can expect to see some exciting wheel-to-wheel racing along with fast-paced action with the autocross segment. Interested fans can witness the event in real-time through the Toyota Motor Philippines official page on October 16 at 10 AM.

As a quick recap, the first leg of the racing series concluded with veteran Vios Cup racers dominating the circuit championship. We saw the likes of Maila Alivia and Jio Garbes dominating 2 out of 3 races from the promotional class, while in the celebrity racers Troy Montero and Fabio Ide were also able to finish strong with one podium each. Over in the sporting class, it was a consistent show as Inigo Anton, Julian Tang, and Joaquin Garrido were the top 3 finishers. In the Super Sporting Class, we saw Gerard Loy become a consistent podium placer along with Estefano Rivera and Red Diwa finishing in the top three in the first two races.
Over in the autocross segment, we saw Alex Diaz dominate both the celebrity and influencers class. He was followed closely behind by Jon Manalo and Jules Aquino. Meanwhile, in the media class of the autocross segment, it was another stellar run by Jose Altoveros who was hailed as the champion of the class with Ian Magbanua and Inigo Roces who finished in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
With the races set to happen this weekend, we can expect to see some thrilling races happen as veteran and rookie racers alike will come together to fight for a spot on the podium.
