After teasing the new Toyota Veloz last week, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has finally confirmed that it will officially launch the vehicle and that it will happen on April 29, 2022. Aside from this, it appears that the Japanese automaker is also positioning the vehicle as a 7-seater sub-compact SUV which means that it will end up in the same segment as the Toyota Rush. Toyota has stated that the new Veloz will be marketed to customers who are looking for a bold and spacious ride for their friends and family.
The upcoming introduction of the All-New Veloz marks another milestone for Toyota in the Philippines.
He continues by stating that “Previously known as the top-grade variant of the Avanza compact MPV range, the Veloz has evolved to become a new standalone brand ready to claim its position as a sub-compact SUV of choice for customers seeking new adventures.”
Aside from confirming the launch date, Toyota has also stated that all authorized dealerships in the country will be accepting reservations for the new Veloz starting April 23, 2022. The new vehicle will come in two variants starting with the G model which is priced at P1,185,000 while the top of the line V model will be priced at P1,225,000. Toyota has yet to officially confirm the new vehicle’s feature set, however, we assume it will be similar to the Toyota Avanza but with the addition of Toyota’s Safety Sense technology.
Interested customers who want to see the vehicle in person can do so as Toyota will be displaying the Veloz at the BGC Amphitheater from April 29 to May 1. Customers can also go to the nearest Toyota dealerships to see if the vehicle is available and if it is on display. Toyota will be launching Veloz as well on all of its social media platforms on April 29.
