P 805,000 – 948,000Basic & Timeless – The Volkswagen Santana is ready to bring the storm to the local subcompact sedan segment.
Everyone thought it was just another model launch until we got inside the venue. There were five, yes, FIVE vehicles under sheets waiting to be pulled. Volkswagen Philippines brought in some of their successful cars from China to try and have a bigger share of the pie locally.
The Santana is their entry level sedan meant to upper cut the competition which starts at Php 686,000 also available in a GTS wagon version. Then there’s the Tiguan crossover, Lamando sedan which is a bit more upmarket, and the best selling sedan in China, the Lavida.
