Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc., (HMPH) is the official distributor of Hyundai cars in the country. The world-renowned South Korean brand has its roots in Seoul. The Philippine distributorship underwent a change in ownership, now being managed directly by Hyundai Motor Company and spearheaded by Mr. Dongwook Lee who is the current president of HMPH.
The history of the Hyundai Motor Company dates back to 1967 when it was established. Fast forward to today, and you can buy a Hyundai in over 200 countries around the world. The South Korean brand has over 120,000 employees worldwide, and part of the company’s goal in the future is to tackle real-world mobility challenges based on the brand’s vision, “Progress for Humanity.” The vision will bring the company into a new age, transforming it into a Smart Mobility Solution Provider.
As for its local models, the brand relaunched with a strong new lineup of cars which include the subcompact Creta crossover, compact Tucson crossover, midsize Santa Fe crossover, the full-size Palisade, the Staria full-size van, and the H-100 commercial truck. All Hyundai vehicles are backed by a five-year or 200,000 kilometer warranty in the Philippines.
