About Aston Martin Philippines
Aston Martin is a British company with a heritage that dates back to 1913. Spearheaded by two individuals, they worked together to transform the company into an iconic brand synonymous to luxury and elegance.
The company was founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford and was initially called 'Bamford & Martin Ltd.' Following the success of Lionel in racing at Aston Hill Climb, they decided to make their own vehicles. Within a year, the first car named Aston Martin was created by fitting a four-cylinder Coventry-Simplex engine to the chassis of a 1908 Isotta-Fraschini.
In 1922, Lionel and Robert produced cars that competed in the French Grand Prix, wherein they set world speed and endurance records. Over the next decade, production increased for Aston Martin as they won the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1933.
The historic wings badge has been synonymous with Aston Martin since 1927 when the original logo was redesigned. It was then that the Aston Martin name was immersed within the new wings motif. Over the course of the 20th century, a variety of adjustments has been made to the badge, which incorporates the significant cues from each era. The most recent iteration was made in 2003 during the launch of the company's new global headquarters.
Entering their 2nd century in the automotive business, Aston Martin continues to be an iconic mark of unrivaled heritage. With their new Chief Executive Officer, fresh investments, and the strongest model line-up of British luxury sports cars, they are looking forward to an exciting future.
Aston Martin's state-of-the-art headquarters is located in Gaydon, Warwickshire, which are built upon the passion, skill, and creativity of the people who dedicate their working lives to one of the most renowned brands in the world.
Locally, Aston Martin has recently opened its doors to their showroom at G/F W Fifth Avenue Bldg., 5th Avenue cor 32nd St., BGC Taguig City.
