About FAW Philippines
FAW, originally known as First Automobile Works, is a Chinese state-owned company that began in 1953 with a primary focus on commercial vehicles. With their headquarters in Changchun, China, FAW became the country’s first automobile manufacturer in 1958 with the unveiling of China’s first domestically produced passenger car. Currently one of the “Big Four” Chinese automakers, FAW employs 118,000 people around the world and is present in over 70 countries.
Through their appointed local distributor, Focus Ventures Inc., FAW is offering a wide range of commercial vehicles that cater to the needs of the local consumer. The initial lineup is made up of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks for businesses and manufacturing enterprises. Their take on the popular mini-truck chassis is the Multi-Carry, allowing businesses to deliver and receive goods in an affordable and easily configurable package. The Loadrunner and Powerloader trucks are flexible for manufacturing and construction needs, with the Powerloader boasting a payload capacity of 3 tons.
For heavier hauling, FAW offers their Dump Truck model in 6x4 and 4x2 variants. The Tractor Head model is offered to customers looking at long distance hauling of goods and is available in 6x4 form.
With a 2 dealerships located in Naga and Mandaluyong, and a wide network of accredited service centers, Focus Ventures Inc. is poised to help FAW expand its global reach of customers in over 80 countries all over the world.
