In 2010, Great Wall started to venture into automobile manufacturing, where it immediately saw its potential for success.
GWM stands out as a pioneering Chinese automobile enterprise that has successfully expanded its global presence. With remarkable speed, the company has established a network of over 400 dealerships across key regional markets including Russia, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East, South America, and Asia Pacific. In total, the GWM brand employs an impressive workforce of over 59,000 individuals, spanning across more than 60 countries and 400 cities.
Globalization opportunities soon knocked on its doors in 2006. Expanding its manufacturing and distribution, starting out in Europe where it manufactured small vans. Eventually, it created a presence in other markets like Vietnam, Ukraine, Senegal, Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Thailand, and the Philippines where it debuted in 2009.
