Abarth 595 Overview
It's been said that if one wants to enter the Abarth world, this is the car where the journey begins. The 595 is a sport performance version of the Fiat 500 mini car, which is a two-door, four-seat, front-engine hatchback. Offered in the Philippines in three versions: the 595 base, 595 Turismo, 595 Competizione, as well as cabriolet version of the Turismo and Competizione. The 595 shares the same proportions as to the Fiat 500. The Abarth version differs in looks with sportier bumpers and, most importantly, a performance-bred engine. Bearing the iconic round headlights of the scorpion brand, the Abarth 595 shares the same history with its brother Fiat 500. And unlike its Fiat counterpart, it has larger wheels and flashier paint jobs. Under the hood is a 1.4-liter T-jet turbocharged engine, which power varies depending on what variant we're looking at. The engine range is at 143 hp for the base model, 165 hp for Turismo, and 180 hp on the Competizione. All variants feature an MTA gearbox, which is a sequential robotized transmission.
