The FOTON Tornado is a light duty truck powered by a 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. A reliable workhorse, it is one of the most popular truck that FOTON sells. It's available in 3 variants the 2E, 2.5 and 3.5 which are available in various configuration such as cab & chassis, dropside, aluminum van, etc. Tornado is known for its many uses, due to its high payload capacity which amounts to 2,000 kg for the 2E variant and 2,500 kg for 2.5 variant. The 2.5 variant is essentially bigger, with a 3.5L engine that can produce 310 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 2E runs on a 2.0L engine that has a pulling power of 172 Nm. Although it is a truck by built and nature, its cabin has not been taken for granted as it comes standard with central control locks, air-conditioning, power windows, and AM/FM radio with CD player and MP3.
