The MG G50 Plus entered the Philippine market on June 4, 2024, alongside the MG3 Hatchback. At launch, the MG G50 Plus came in three variants, the 1.5 MT STD with a price tag of P1,048,000, followed by the 1.5 AT COM with a price tag of P1,188,888, and topped by the 1.5 AT LUX with a price tag of P1,288,888.

The MG G50 is built on Maxus’ unibody MPV chassis and platform designed for a smooth and stable ride. Stopping power comes from a set of disc brakes on all four wheels. Meanwhile, in terms of suspension components, the G50 Plus is equipped with MacPherson strut suspension up front and a torsion-beam suspension in the rear.
