Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2024

Unveiled in 2022, the 992-generation GT3 RS debuted as a testament to Porsche’s relentless pursuit of motorsport perfection. Building on the legacy of its predecessors, it offers cutting-edge technology and engineering to maximize track performance while remaining road-legal.  

At its core, the GT3 RS features a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine delivering 386 kW (525 PS) at a screaming 9,000 RPM. Unlike the GT3, it is paired exclusively with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission for rapid gear changes. The chassis is re-engineered with a focus on aerodynamics, including active elements like a massive rear wing and front splitter. A double-wishbone suspension setup ensures razor-sharp handling, while the lightweight CFRP body panels, magnesium wheels, and reduced insulation contribute to a curb weight of just 1,450 kg. 

The GT3 RS incorporates advanced aerodynamics with drag reduction and downforce control, offering up to 409 kg of downforce at 200 km/h. It features a new central control system, allowing drivers to fine-tune suspension, differential, and aero settings for optimal track performance. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and rear-wheel steering further enhance agility and stability. 

The GT3 RS’s exterior design prioritizes function over form, with every element serving a purpose. The oversized rear wing, prominent air intakes, and aggressive front splitter emphasize its track-oriented intent. Bold livery options and the Weissach Package add visual flair while shaving additional weight. It’s a race car for the road in every sense. 

The cabin of the GT3 RS is stripped down for lightweight efficiency while retaining essential comforts. Carbon bucket seats, lightweight carpeting, and a minimalist dashboard design emphasize focus on driving. However, Porsche offers personalization options, including contrasting stitching and Alcantara accents, for those seeking a bespoke touch.
