GAC Philippines has recently gone through a renaissance of sorts, fielding models that are quite compelling. As we have come to learn with the brand, ease of use, ease of ownership, and ease of acquisition are all important things, and the company has got you covered in more ways than one.
Let’s go over five of the reasons why owning a GAC’s something worth your while, and something that can be easy as can be.
Ease of acquisition
It’s no use saying that a car is easy to drive if you can’t own one in the first place. The ownership experience can’t start if the cars are impossible to get, so GAC’s actually very receptive in fielding some very compelling promos on our website. We’ve been in touch with the brand’s promotions for a while now, and we can safely say that there are some big incentives waiting for you if you just click through and browse through what the brand has to offer.
Check out our promos pages for GAC and you will find some pretty radical discounts and even low-downpayment promos from time to time. Remember, however, that promos change consistently, but there’s probably a right time for you to make your big purchase. Our advice is to comb the page from time to time. If you find a promo that you like, don’t hesitate to get a quote, it’s absolutely free. Besides, GAC cars are already competitively priced, and a promo is just icing on the cake, but who wouldn’t want to get, let’s say, P90,000 off on your purchase? Who’d say no to that? Remember, check back with our promo pages if you want to score some good deals, otherwise, the cars are quite well-price anyway at least in our opinion.
Ease of driving
In the world of affordable cars, GAC stands quite tall when it comes to capability. With its cars commanding rather respectable technical specifications, it’s easy to see why a number of them tend to be a little more exciting than you’d expect. It’s really an experience to be able to drive a car with a satisfactory ride and drive quality. In terms of engine responsiveness and behaved-ness on the road, GAC cars don’t really get in your way. Top of mind is probably the Empow, with its uber-capable chassis and engine combo. The sedan is a distillation of a lot of GAC’s learnings over the years, and it’s one of our favorite cars to drive in the lineup.
Following that, you have crossover and MPV options that stack up with the rest of the industry. With par-for-the-course versatility and space that you will end up using throughout your various drives in and out of town.
Ease of maintenance
GAC Philippines is standing by its products and its build quality. With the goal of making quality cars that last, GAC put a ton of effort into producing cars that are worth the money that customers pay. On top of building the cars well, it also pledges to field some very enticing aftersales services. GAC Philippines currently has one of the best warranties in the country, touting five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
On top of that, skilled mechanics are ready and willing to service a GAC automobile at a moment’s notice but better if you file an appropriate schedule. GAC Philippines also stocks all the basics for easy maintenance and parts availability is promised by the brand with minimal wait times. With something to prove, GAC’s ready and waiting for its customers to do a lot of driving. More driving equals more maintenance, and the brand’s ready for you.
Ease your mind
Reliability is a big consideration when shopping for a car, and believe it or not, GAC has actually proven itself already with regard to this. Tasked with the challenge of proving itself in the market in the grandest way possible, GAC Philippines actually entered one of its cars in the Kalayaan Endurance cup. Yes, you read that right, endurance racing. On top of actually finishing the endurance race, the team was able to bag five trophies from the event which took place in 2022.
GAC Philippines will continue this effort in 2023 with the Empow. Stay tuned for updates on this because we’d like to see how well GAC’s latest and greatest flagship compact sedan does in a grueling 12-hour race. We heard that the brand is hungry for a first-place finish in its category since it ended up with a first-runner-up trophy overall for the 2022 leg of the endurance event.
Ease your senses
In our tests with GAC vehicles, we found that the brand had a lot going for it in terms of its overall ambiance, especially with models like the GN6, GS8, and Empow. GAC’s newest crop of vehicles all embody a certain air in the cabin that gives you a good sense of premium-ness. Fittings are fitted well, upholsters are stitched tight, and the overall driving characteristics of the models feel solid. In our view, GAC’s vehicles are not just “good for a Chinese car,” they’re just good cars.
Your senses will thank you as you sit in the driver’s or any of the passenger’s seats. On top of that, the interior design isn’t half bad for what you pay for, and there’s a certain level of engagement that comes with driving or riding in a GAC. It’s something that you at least have to experience yourself in a test drive.
