Chinese automotive brand, Changan made a strong Philippine comeback. The ‘V’ logo brand brought in 5 vehicles and its distributorship has been taken over by Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI). The following models shall excel in the 5 key areas of motoring pleasure, including innovation, intelligence, quality, design, and sustainability.
Changan Alsvin
First in line is the Changan Alsvin, a subcompact sedan that’s rich in terms of features. It’s generously specced, with it having a sunroof, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system, leather seats, and many more at an attractive price tag. This vehicle could either come with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine or a larger 1.5-liter motor.
Changan CS35 Plus
Next up is the Changan CS35 Plus which is the brand’s entry to the subcompact crossover segment. Likewise, this model also offers a wide range of features that will satisfy the driver and its passengers. Its equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, engine remote start, passive keyless entry, and a 10-inch touchscreen display. Under the hood is a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that is then mated to a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Changan CS75 Plus
Now, if you need something that’s a bit larger than the CS35, Changan also has a compact crossover, namely the CS75 Plus. Apart from having larger dimensions, this vehicle also comes with such notable features including a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree Camera, engine remote start, a 12-inch Touchscreen, 7-inch Digital Cluster, Cruise Control, Triple Drive Modes, and six airbags. As for the powertrain, the CS75 Plus is run by a 1.5-liter turbo engine that is then mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Changan CS95
As for those who have larger families to haul, Changan is also offering a seven-seat cruiser known as the Changan CS95. Apart from having the spacious advantage, this midsize crossover also comes with a slew of features including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree Camera, and a panoramic sunroof. This large steed is motivated by a 2.0L Turbocharged GDI Engine. The said mill is then paired with a 6-speed automatic Transmission.
Changan Eado EV460
Last but not least is the most innovative model in its local lineup yet, the Changan Eado EV460. This sedan is hailed as the best 'Green Car' in China, given the fact that it’s fully-electric. Notable features include six airbags, electronic stability control, leather seats, and many more.
In order to strengthen and prove the quality of these vehicles, each one has undergone the 4 million kilometers test mileage and 4,500 tests in 15 areas. Now, for that added certainty, all Changan vehicles come with a 5-year, 150,000-kilometer warranty and free Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) for the first year, or up to 20,000 kilometers.
Changan now has 15 pioneer dealerships nationwide, offering complete sales, after-sales services, and genuine parts. Plus, the brand also has 24 soon-to-rise dealerships currently operating as sales outlets.
