GAC Motor Philippines is commemorating its five-year milestone in the Philippines and is marking this momentous occasion by offering its customers an irresistible offer on the brand-new Emkoo SUV.
If you attended this year's Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), then you probably saw GAC’s sleek and futuristic SUV. When the price for the Emkoo was announced, you might have hesitated in pulling the trigger for one, the good news is that GAC’s irresistible offer on the Emkoo comes in the form of a lower price tag.
The entry-level GE model has now been reduced to P1,298,000 from a price tag of P1,413,000, at the top of the price ladder, the GL variant is now priced at P1,498,000 from P1,553,000. GAC is also adjusting the price for customers who pre-ordered the Emkoo so don’t worry if you were one of the people who signed up to buy one back in April at MIAS 2023.
For a refresher on what the Emkoo brings to the table, let’s do a quick review of its specs. Under the hood, the Emkoo is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, delivering a power output of 177 hp and 270 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. In terms of size, the Emkoo is 4,680 mm long, with a width of 1,901 mm, and a height of 1,670 mm on a 2,750 mm wheelbase. The five-seater SUV can be had in five colors: Moonlight Gray, Star Lake Green, Snow White, Elegant Black, and Superstar Silver.
“GAC Motor has always been at the forefront of technological innovation to build cars that are high quality, exceptionally durable, and great to drive. The EMKOO embodies these principles, and our new retail pricing makes this remarkable vehicle even more accessible to a wider audience of Filipino customers who want style, comfort, and technological advancements in a reliable SUV.”
On top of the price reduction, GAC announces that its dealers nationwide will organize exclusive Emkoo launch events and test drives on the following dates to mark the Emkoo’s arrival and start of retails:
- May 27 – Pasig
- June 3 – Bacoor, Makati and Tarlac
- June 10 – Cainta, E. Rodriguez, Pampanga and Quezon Avenue
- June 16 – Davao
