Isuzu took part in the Overland Kings CampOut at the Crystal Beach in Zambales from February 9-11, which involved camping with off-road driving, making it a perfect place for Isuzu to show off its D-MAX and mu-X models. Over 100 people who enjoy outdoor activities came to see what these cars could do.
Organized under the supervision of Joel Pedro of Overland Kings, the three-day campout gave participants different community-building activities, expert talks on overlanding and 4x4 driving, and displays from sponsors. It was a great way for both beginners and experienced overlanders to come together.

A special celebration took place on Saturday night with food, music, and fireworks to commemorate the Chinese New Year.
IPC President Tetsuya Fujita shared his excitement and enthusiasm about the event, where he mentioned the lifestyle where people get to enjoy their cars in doing outdoor activities, such as overlanding.
"This is the kind of lifestyle we want to promote to our customers – enjoying their vehicle in weekend activities like overlanding, and spending time with family and friends. We are very happy to be able to join this event and spend time with the overlanding community."
The D-MAX and mu-X from Isuzu are powered by a 4JJ3-TCX 3.0-liter Blue Power engine, which allows them to have strong performance with 190PS power and 450N-m torque, making these vehicles good for different types of off-road driving. The vehicles also came fully loaded with camping necessities, such as awnings, roof tents, drawers, and showers, for comfort and adventure.

Considering the traffic jams in the city, sometimes it's better to take these 'off-roads' less traveled with Isuzu's D-MAX and mu-X. Isuzu's participation in the Overland Kings CampOut might have sparked more interest in overlanding across the Philippines. If you're one of those who got curious about overlanding, then don't hesitate to get a quote for the Isuzu D-MAX or mu-X. You can also check out Isuzu's entire vehicle lineup to see all your options.
