The Covenant Car Company Inc. through Chevrolet Philippines has just announced that the new Chevrolet Trailblazer will officially debut on October 24, 2021. From its SUV roots, the new Chevrolet Trailblazer is poised to shake up the competitive SUV segment. While it no longer rides on a ladder frame chassis, this new vehicle is built to embrace a forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and independent audience.

Chevrolet states that the new Trailblazer will engage owners looking to drive a premium compact crossover SUV that is different from the rest of its competitors. It will have the latest offerings from the golden bowtie brand and will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged motor that will be mated to a CVT. There is no word yet on how much power the new Trailblazer will make but we are expecting it to make a little over 140 hp and 200 Nm of torque.
On top of its new engine, the new Trailblazer will also be equipped with the latest safety features that Chevrolet has to offer. Other highlights for the Trailblazer include enhanced stability control and driver assist systems, in addition, the vehicle also gets an 8-inch Chevrolet My link infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
Aside from its new host of features, Chevrolet says that the new SUV brings with it a head-turning appearance which is reminiscent of its sports car brother the Chevrolet Camaro. The automaker further states that the new Trailblazer will come with a sporty stance and flexible yet comfortable interior, that all combine to create an appealing compact crossover that will exceed the expectations of even the most discerning car buyers in the Philippines.
With that said, further specifications of the new Chevrolet Trailblazer remain a mystery, however, the automaker has stated that it will be available in two variants, the LT and the Premier. It will also come with a 5-year warranty, an automatic enrollment to the 24/7 Chevrolet Roadside Assistance program for three years, and owners of the vehicle will have immediate access to the Chevy Hotline for convenient vehicle service and ownership needs.
