MINI is making moves in the Philippines. The iconic British marque just opened a new dealership in Cebu, and it's the only one in Central Visayas. AutoStudio Philippines Corporation is running the show, and their new locations have got everything from car displays to aftersales services covered. On top of that, they have a sweet selection of vehicle and lifestyle accessories up for grabs.
The launch event was graced by distinguished individuals, namely Mr. Kidd Yam, the Head of MINI Asia, Mr. Willy Tee Ten, who serves as the president of both MINI Philippines and the Autohub Group, and Mr. Alfonso Luzuriaga Jr., the President of AutoStudio. Additionally, esteemed board members of AutoStudio, namely Mr. Gabriel Alonzo, Mr. Edmundo Samson, and Mr. Wilson Tan, were also present at the event.
During the event, Mr. Yam expressed his appreciation for the Philippines as one of MINI's key markets in Southeast Asia, with over 30% growth in volume in 2022. He emphasized MINI's commitment to creating engaging experiences for its community, introducing new models to the market, and providing exceptional service to its customers in 2023. Mr. Yam also expressed his gratitude to the MINI Philippines team for their unwavering dedication and outstanding work in serving their customers, while sharing his honor to be present at the launch of MINI Cebu.
Mr. Tee Ten commented that the opening of the MINI Cebu showroom is proof of the strong partnership between the Autohub Group of Companies and AutoStudio. He mentioned that MINI had set up a pop-up store in Escario back in February 2021, now, the establishment of a permanent presence in Central Visayas is a fantastic development that will allow them to cater to their customers in the southern Philippines better.
Mr. Luzuriaga added, “We are proud to launch the new and permanent home of MINI in Cebu. It is both an honour, and a great responsibility, to be the only MINI dealership in Central Visayas with full services. We will work hard to provide our valued MINI clients with the high-quality services they deserve and the signature go-kart driving fun they desire.”
With an area of 419.57 square meters, the new showroom showcases two iconic models - the MINI Cooper S 3-Door, a compact urban vehicle perfect for city streets, and the MINI John Cooper Works 3-Door, a model that MINI says, “embodies the very essence of motorsport”. Additionally, the showroom boasts a dedicated John Cooper Works corner, a spacious lifestyle and lounge for customers to enjoy, and comprehensive service facilities for clients.
The new MINI showroom can be found at Veterans Drive, Nivel Hills, Lahug, Cebu City. The shop doors are open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
During its launch period, which runs until 31 March 2023, MINI Cebu is providing special promotions, including discounts of up to 10 for selected MINI lifestyle items and discounts of up to P100,000 on new MINI units.
