If you're someone who loves everything in black, you'll be excited to know that Mitsubishi has just launched the Triton Black Edition in Thailand. Mitsubishi recently introduced the Triton Black Edition in Thailand, a new variant of the popular pickup truck built with a special dark theme.

The Black Edition steps away from the traditional Ultra trim with several noticeably different features. It boasts a gloss black front grille and Dynamic Shield, alongside black mirror caps, door handles, and tailgate handle.

The dark theme is completed by smoked titanium accents on the side steps and rear bumper, and it rides on 18-inch black alloy wheels. The vehicle is available in two color options: Graphite Grey and White Diamond.

Inside, the cabin features a black interior with white stitching, creating a stark contrast to the predominantly dark theme. However, a light-colored headliner softens the interior's overall darkness. It comes equipped with a 9-inch infotainment system and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

The power comes from a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine that delivers 181 hp and 430 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, so you'll surely get smooth and responsive driving. The Black Edition does not offer a four-wheel drive, a feature available in other higher-end trims like the Athlete, which may be a consideration for off-road enthusiasts.

Currently priced at 1,027,000 Thai Baht (approximately P1,658,862.26), the Triton Black Edition is solely available in Thailand for now. Given how popular special edition and custom-looking cars are worldwide, and knowing how many people dig black themes, there's a good chance Mitsubishi might start selling this model in other countries, including the Philippines.

While we're keeping an eye out for its possible release, you can take a look at Mitsubishi's current lineup on AutoDeal. Find your favorite and get a quote today!
