2020 appears to be a big year for Nissan as the Japanese brand is gearing up to launch 13 new models. The Japanese brand has already launched the all-new Nissan X-trail this month and in a few week’s time, the Nissan Ariya will also make its global debut. Out of the 13 vehicles that were shown in the Japanese brand’s teaser one crossover with a mystery M-name got us curious as to what the automotive brand had in store.
Thankfully more details have arrived thanks to Nissan India. The Indian branch of the Japanese automotive company has released a teaser for what they call the B-SUV or B-segment SUV. While B and M are considerably far from one another in the alphabet it does look similar to the M-named crossover from Nissan’s teaser video. The new B-segment SUV comes with similarly slim LED headlights that also come with L-shaped vertical LED daytime running lights on its front bumper.

While there are no official specifications yet for the new vehicle, we can safely assume that it will be coming with Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility system or at least a variation of it. From the photos alone it looks like the all-new vehicle will still carry on Nissan’s current design language. So expect to see a variation of the V-motion grille found on the Nissan Terra or the shield design that is currently being featured on the Nissan Ariya.
The new model is supposedly made for the Indian market, however, there is still a possibility that it can be sold in other developing countries such as the Philippines. While details of the new vehicle are still up in the air, we won’t have to wait long as the new crossover will be launching on July 16, 2020, and will likely slot in between the Nissan Juke, the Nissan Kicks, and just below the Nissan X-trail.
