Peugeot Philippines, under dealer Automotive Icon Inc. (AII), has officially broken ground on the construction of its newest showroom in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
The past year has been a momentous one for Peugeot, as Astara, the Spain-based automotive distributor, took over importation and distribution duties while aiming to expand the French car brand’s presence in the Philippines. It has since launched new models like the 3008 and the Traveller Premium.
The groundbreaking ceremony for Peugeot Alabang was led by officials from Astara, including Jorge Belzunce, managing director for Southern Europe and the Philippines. Also present at the event were Raoul Picello, managing director of BA Motors Philippines, Adolfo Careaga, CFO, and Maricar Parco, the brand head for the Philippine market.
AII personnel were also in attendance, headed by president and chairman Dexter Co, vice president Cluben Bofill Jr., branch head Roger Ramirez, and aftersales manager Romy Garcia.
This groundbreaking is a big step in our dealer network footprint as it helps to fulfill our promise to bring the Peugeot brand closer to customers through more dealerships across the nation. The soon-to-rise Peugeot Alabang showroom will be designed with the customer in mind, and we will remain focused on upgrading the customer experience even further in partnership with Automotive Icon.
Peugeot Alabang is being built within Westgate Center. It will be the first Peugeot showroom in the Philippines to feature the French automotive brand’s latest dealership design language. The new showroom will house Peugeot’s latest models for the local market, such as the 2008, 3008, and 5008 crossovers as well as the Traveller Premium MPV.
While waiting for the Alabang location to rise before the end of the year, interested customers can still check out the latest Peugeot models at the Corte de las Palmas at Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa.
We are very excited for the brand-new Peugeot Alabang showroom as it will enable us to deliver yet again the outstanding service that customers have come to expect from us at Automotive Icon. We are committed to provide a truly world-class experience that our discerning customers deserve from Peugeot.
