DFSK E5 PHEV 2024

The DFSK E5 entered the Philippine market in September 2024. Serving as part of the inaugural lineup of DFSK in the country, the E5 PHEV launched alongside the Candy Mini EV, and the EC75 commercial vehicle.

At launch, the E5 is available in two variants, the E5 PHEV Deluxe priced at P1,580,000 and the range-topping E5 PHEV Ultimate which has a price tag of P1,880,000.

The E5 PHEV, as its name suggests, has a hybrid powertrain. This powertrain combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with an electric motor and a 17.52 kWh battery pack. Together, they deliver a total system output of 174 hp and a robust 300 Nm of torque. With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the E5 PHEV boasts an impressive range of up to 1,150 km, while its electric-only range is approximately 100 km. Power is directed to the front wheels via an e-CVT, and the system is equipped with regenerative braking to help recharge the battery. 

Additionally, it features a 6.6 kWh onboard charger that can fully recharge the battery in about 4 hours. For added versatility, the E5 PHEV is equipped with a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system, allowing it to power external devices, such as tools or home appliances, during emergencies, blackouts, or if you need to power gadgets out in nature.

The DFSK E5 is equipped with an array of advanced technological features that enhance the driving experience and provide maximum comfort. Both the driver and front passenger are greeted by a pair of high-resolution displays: a seven-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that provides seamless control of navigation, media, and vehicle settings. For safety, the DFSK E5 comes equipped with essential features such as anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, a 360-degree panoramic camera, and multiple airbags. The top-tier model also includes an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) package, which adds blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and door-opening warning for enhanced safety and peace of mind.

The exterior design of the DFSK E5 is modern and bold, reflecting its futuristic electric identity. With sharp lines, a high front grille, and sculpted LED headlights, the E5 has a distinctive look that combines elegance with sportiness. Its aerodynamic profile is further enhanced by a sloping roofline and sleek side mirrors, helping to add to the crossover’s sleek style. The crossover’s athletic stance is complemented by stylish alloy wheels and a raised ground clearance, giving it a commanding presence on the road. The rear of the vehicle is equally striking, featuring sleek LED tail lamps that stretch across the width of the tailgate, adding to its contemporary appeal.

Inside, the DFSK E5 offers a spacious and well-designed cabin that can comfortably seat five passengers. High-quality materials, soft-touch surfaces, and modern finishes give the interior a premium feel. The cabin is designed to be driver-centric, with an intuitive layout that makes controlling the car’s functions easy and distraction-free. The digital dashboard displays key driving information, while the central infotainment screen provides access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. Passengers can enjoy ample legroom and headroom, while the rear seats offer versatile folding options to expand cargo space. Features such as dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging ensure a comfortable and convenient journey for all occupants.
